Morse is a FREE instant messaging app that focuses on security and is available for Android and IOS smartphones. Morse allows you to connect with family and friends across the countries easily.

WHY Morse?

SIMPLE. Morse is a simple yet completed instant messaging app. Morse consists of most of the features that you needed to connect with others such as text messaging, multimedia messaging, audio call, video call, etc.

REAL-TIME. Morse supports high-definition video and audio call, providing a real-time communication experience that keeps users away from annoyance of delay.

SECURE. Privacy is precious, it is not an option but a necessity and we are not supposed to compromise on leakage of privacy. With Morse, you can safeguard your privacy. Everything on Morse is heavily encrypted, which means that no third party able to intercept any content you sent or received.

PRIVATE. For those interested in maximum privacy, Morse offers hidden mode. User requires entering an additional password to access hidden mode and it is programmed to self-destruct all the contents in hidden mode if login password is entered. Simply flip the phone will turn it back to normal mode. This way you can protect friends or particular conversations with minimum risk of leakage of privacy.

GROUP CHAT. The conventional method of creating groups by searching friends from contact lists is effective but tedious. Morse is offering a more convenient method by simply scan a QR code to create and join groups when you are meeting with friends.

  • 1. What is Morse?

    Morse is a messaging application that provides users a high degree of secure information and personal privacy. Morse currently supports iPhones and Android smartphones.
  • 2. What can I do with Morse?

    a) Send encrypted message (text, sticker, picture, video, location, etc.).

    b) Initiate real-time high definition encrypted audio and video call.

    c) Quickly create groups and manage groups.

    d) Conduct private communication and manage conversations with private contacts and private groups.

    e) Share personal links to third-parties and collect anonymous information, i.e. my evaluation.

  • 3. How Morse secure my communication?

    Morse uses high strength of encryption algorithm and flexible encryption strategy to provide users a military grade of protection on communications. All the contents of communication such as text, audio message, video message, etc. are encrypted to ensure that no third party able to intercept. Besides, the messages are end-to-end encrypted and store locally to guarantee the information is secured.

  • 4. What is hidden mode?

    The hidden mode is a feature of Morse on providing privacy a deeper protection. Once the contact or group is set as the hidden, everything related to the contact or group will not be visible in normal mode. The hidden mode minimizes the risk of leakage of private conversations.

  • 5. The differences between normal mode and hidden mode?

    a) All contacts, groups and conversations are visible in hidden mode with those hidden objects marked with a hidden sign. Only non-hidden contacts, groups and conversations are visible in the normal mode.

    b) The settings of hidden mode can be modifying within hidden mode only. There's no authority to modify the settings of hidden mode in the normal mode.

    c) All favourites are visible in hidden mode, whereas only non-hidden favourites are visible in the normal mode.

  • 6. What can hidden mode do for you?

    Move a particular contact or group from normal mode to the hidden mode, then all the information related to the contact or group will be invisible in normal mode. Your privacy will not be revealed even if someone peeks on the screen or takes away your phone.

  • 7. How to enable hidden mode?

    On conversation list interface, slide down and release to enter hidden mode setup interface. Activate the hidden mode by setting a hidden mode password. Next time onward, enter hidden password to switch to hidden mode.

  • 8. How to switch back to normal mode quickly?

    a) By default, you can quickly switch it to normal mode by flipping the phone.

    b) Or, switch it back to normal mode automatically when screen is off.

    The two methods above can be managed in setting of hidden mode.

  • 9. How to remove hidden data quickly?

    Enter the login password within search box in normal mode will re-initialize the hidden mode. Be aware that all hidden data in the hidden mode will be removed once you confirmed re-initializing. Please be caution!

  • 10. Will my private information be removed if Morse is removed from my device? ?

    Yes. When you're removing Morse, all the related program files including the cache files will be removed and it is not recoverable. Even if you reinstall Morse and login with the same account, you will no longer able to retrieve the previous information.

  • 11. Will I be notified if someone login to my Morse account?

    Yes, Morse allows only one account to be online at one time. If other device is logged in with the same account, the current device will receive an offline notification. If you're not performing this action, it is likely that the information of your account has been leaked.

  • 12. Is there any chance that information leaks when the device is lost?

    Morse has multiple security measures to secure information which including password, number of attempts login per day, hidden mode and encrypted local data. The safety of local information depends on the complexity of the login password and hidden password, it is suggested that two passwords are created in a complex combination to ensure the safety of information.

  • 13. Why did I receive the message showing decryption failed?

    Morse uses a well-known high secure algorithm, the asymmetric encryption algorithm to encrypt message to ensure that no third party able to intercept the content of the communication. The decryption of message depends on a secret key. When user change a new device or user uninstall and re-install the application, the secret key will be changed and it may cause the failure of message decryption. In general, you will be able to view the content of the message when the other party goes online.

  • 14. Receive no message notification when application running in background?

    a) Check if message notification feature within the application is enabled.

    b) Switch on the message notification in your device and make sure the process keep running in the background without being terminated. Here's how:

    i. Apple iOS: "Settings" → "Notifications" → "Morse", enable notification, and select the corresponding notification type.

    ii. Xiaomi [MIUI] "Settings" → "Notification and Status Bar" → "Notification Management" → "Morse", enable notification, and select the corresponding notification type.

    iii. Samsung "Settings" → "Apps" → "Morse" → "Notifications", enable notification.

    iv. Huawei【Emotion】 For Android6.0 below, "Settings" → "Advanced Settings"→ "Protected Apps", enable Morse; For Android6.0 and above, "Settings" → "Apps" → "Morse" → "Notifications", enable notification, and then "Battery" → enable "Run in background".

    v. Meizu【Flyme】 "Settings" → "Apps" → "Morse" → "Permission", enable Notification; "Settings" → "Battery" → "Ranking" → "Morse" → "Running permission when standby", enable background running

    vi. OPPO【ColorOS】 "Settings" → "Notification and Status Bar" → "Notifications Management" → "Morse", switch on notifications; "Settings" → "Battery", remove Morse from optimize list.

    vii. VIVO【Funtouch OS】 Long press "≡" button → Long press on Morse’s icon → "Add to white list". Do not remove the running apps by pulling up out, just tap on "Speed Up".

II. through the phone’s contacts book

For first time user, please enter login password to activate hidden mode and setup. Next time onward, enter hidden password to switch to hidden mode.
Click “Activate”

What is Public Account?

The public account is for merchant or enterprise such that user can register through our self-service platform and manage the operations of public account autonomously.

Login Instructions

1. The operation administrator's account is logged in as Morse account. Due to the business nature of the enterprise and merchant, login is supported only to email account.

2. Operations manager associate public account administrator, the public account administrator will be need to scan code and login by using Morse account and password. Once logged in, for all the function within public account, such as create and delete customer services staff, to check out the status of customer services staff as well as the user label and work orders created by customer services staff.

Function of Public Account

• Business Services and User Management

Provide enterprises and organizations with a more powerful business services and user management capabilities, and help them manage operation in public account service platform.

• Data Analysis

Provide enterprises data visualization of data sets, convey the information expressed by the data sets in a way more straight forward, and find insightful message from the data sets.

• Push Message

Edit and save the text and picture message of Public Account managing platform, send text and picture message to followers.

• Self Custom Function

Self custom menu support at most 3 of the first level menu. Each of them consist a title and a url;

For each first level menu, at most 5 of the second level menu can be added. Each of them consist a title and a url;

Every menu is editable and deletable, and menus in the same level can be rearranged.

Change of administrator of Public Account

The operational administrator associated the new public account administrator on Morse. At administrator information inside the managing platform, the new administrator will be verified for the authorization by scanning QR code to replace the old administrator.

Data Analysis

Text and Picture Message Analysis

• Public Account → Statistic → Text and Picture Message Analysis → Text and Picture Message Forwarding, to view the the times count and user count of reading the page.

User Statistical Analysis

1. User Analysis Module viewing method

Public Account → Statistic → User Analysis → User Growth / User Attributes, to check out the changes of the number of fans or the distribution of fans for the current public account

2. User Growth Manual

Public Account → Statistic → User Analysis → User Growth, to check the number of fans.

I) Previous day key indicator module: Based on the number of followers in the previous day, compare the figures with previous 2 day, previous 7 days and previous 30 days , the result will be reflected as percentage change in terms of day, week and month.

II) Trend Chart Breakdown: User can view the change of number of followers by setting duration to 7, 14, 30 days or a self custom duration. User can also compare the changes of number followers according to choice of duration.

III) Definitions of indicator:

New Followers:User count of New Followers (Without counting duplicate user);

Statistics of sources of growth: Count of new followers can be viewed through all sources which including public account and Morse account searching, name card sharing and other sources; (Other sources: Follow through QR code)

Unfollowers:User count of cancel following (Without counting duplicate user);

Net increase of Followers: The difference between New Followers and Unfollowers;

Cumulative Followers: Total Followers.
